Evangeline came into this world 3 weeks earlier than expected. Legitimately the only woman in this family to be early for anything, lol. She’s our third daughter and my pregnancy with her was subject to many blog posts since she was conceived shortly after I launched RaisingtheCurtins.com.
Evie is the boy we tried for, and the girl we got. A true blessing. I can’t imagine life without having all daughters. She is attached to me like glue and her snuggles make my heart melt. She was meant to be. It’s crazy to think that, had we not decided to try for a boy, that she would not be in this world. How crazy is that? Without that intention, she wouldn’t exist. I know that’s the same for A LOT of people, but for some reason this fact is overwhelming when I look at her.
This gal is the center of all our worlds and we all can’t wait to see what each day will bring us. She makes us laugh and fills our lives with so much joy – even when she doesn’t sleep or upends the house like the Tasmanian Devil. She is wonderful.
**Please note that it is very difficult to maintain wholly accurate About pages for my children. They change every day and grow up quicker than I can keep up with now that I am juggling 4 nuggets. I will do my best to keep current but know that this is likely old by the time you read it.Â
